The Mammut Backpacks are built for performance in austere conditions. They use high tech fabric that weighs only 335 grams per square meter. Mammut backpacks are designed with a free space between the backpack and you. This feature allows air circulation from three sides which reduces body heat and perspiration. The Mammut backpack fastens by a unique rollup system allowing quick access to gear.

The Ice 35 Mammut backpack is simple and functional. Built for ice and alpine climbing with all the features required for steep and high mountainous terrain. This backpack is designed to carry 2 ice tools. If it becomes necessary to climb with the backpack on, the belt can be removed to improve flexibility and range of motion. The flexible Butterfly Suspension system distributes weight while allowing continued motion and freedom. The backpack has a large 2,130cu in capacity's weight, but flexes to allow you to climb without interference. The empty weight is only 3 pounds 4ounces.

Mammut are available in three product lines single, half/twin rope, static and dynamic. Mammut ropes are known for strength, exceptional energy absorptions qualities, exceptional handling qualities and long life. Mammut fuses the sheath and core using a secure welding process. This process prevents the rope from slipping against the sheath. The Teflon finish reduces friction between rope fibers resulting in more evenly distributed load, making the rope lighter and stronger. Mammut ropes are available in varying lengths typically from 60m to 80m, or shorter lengths for traversing ice.
