The North Face Venture Jacket is lightweight, just 12.4 ounces. It is made with 50D 2.7 oz/yd2 HyVent DT 2.5. It is waterproof and breathable. The North Face Venture Jacket is designed for hiking, backpacking, climbing, or any conditions with wet conditions. The Venture jacket uses HyVent DT, a highly breathable yet waterproof fabric. The inner surface has a raised microdot texture which raises the shell fabric away from the body providing soft and comfortable feel. This keeps you drier and warmer. North Face built the Venture jacket with a rollable hood, brushed chin guard lining, and pit zips to vent in warm wet weather. The North Face designed the Venture jacket extremely compressible so it will pack efficiently in a backpack. It can be rolled into its own pocket which serves as a container for itself. It has Velcro adjustable cuffs, two hand pockets, and a hem cinchcord.
