La Sportiva Boot

La Sportiva Makalu has stiff soles for increased support. The sole is made with La Sportiva MPE with protective rubber rand. The shank is 1.5mm Dacromet-coated full steel, weighing 4 pounds 6 ounces (1984 g). The Makalu was designed, built and excels in hiking high altitudes and difficult backpacking.
La Sportiva Nepal. Designed for technical mountaineering with ice. It is a completely waterproof and breathable due to the Gore-Tex lining. The Nepal also has an innovative 3D Flex System that gives the full range for natural ankle movement while providing stability.
La Sportiva Glacier is a heavy duty boot that can handle any terrain you might encounter in a week on the mountain. If the trail leads over a snowfield or onto a glacier you can slap on crampons and travel with confidence. The shank is half steel for serious heavy backpacking with capability to attach a crampon. A variation on the Glacier is the La Sportiva Glacier EVO which spans between a heavy backpacking boot and a mountaineering boot. The EVO employs the integrated "Reactive Spoiler System" in the cuffs. This system allows for flexibility while on trails, but gives support for hiking across glacier ice.
La Sportiva Trango is breathable yet waterproof from the Gore-Tex membrane. It is made with Cordura and Flex Tec 2 outer, and weighs only 2 pounds 10oz. The La Sportiva Trango is for mountaineering, alpine and classic alpine assents.

La Sportiva Technical Rock

La Sportiva Ventor excels on both trad and bouldering. The Ventor has a low asymmetrical curve and uses the sticky FriXion RS rubber on the soles, providing excellent edging.
La Sportiva Katana. is available tailored for men and women. It is designed with the Velcro slip on/off closures tighten around your foot in opposing directions. The Katana has premium leather construction, slip-lasted, lined and uses sticky rubber for excellent bouldering performance.
La Sportiva Mythos is popular as a trad performance rock shoe. It is comfortable and produces very good traction using the Vibram XSV rubber. The Mythos' traditional lacing keeps your feet in place without the need to be overly tight. This shoe performs well on technical and trad routes.
La Sportiva Miura. This technical rock shoe was made for aggressive bouldering and sport climbing. It has a highly asymmetrical curve with a down-turned toe for superior friction, providing excellent performance on difficulty technical rock. The Ultra-sticky Vibram XSV rubber gives traction and excellent edging performance. The Miura is built with slip-lasted leather outer and Dentex lining that reduces stretch.
La Sportiva Venom uses a leather outer and unlined for sensitivity and precision. It has a down-turned toe to aid in roof work. The Venom also uses highly sticky Vibram XS Grip rubber soles.
La Sportiva Testarossa. This shoe has a down-turned last with conventional lacing making it an excellent performing technical shoe for a wide range of rock and climbing styles. The Testarossa is just 16 ounces in weight.

La Sportiva Mandala looks like a hybrid casual and approach shoe. It has pocket built into the tongue for storage. The Mandala uses the FriXion AT sole with a mesh lining.
